• You can use the "Shift-Ctrl-G" keyboard shortcut to ungroup the objects.

• To group the objects again, hold down the shift key, select each object, right-click one of the objects and select "Group" from the context menu.

While, the graph is selected, go Object > Ungroup (or press Shift + Ctrl/Cmd + G) where you will then be prompted by a warning window. Press Yes: Deselect the graph, then select the Direct Selection Tool.
