According to this model:- 1) Electrons revolve around the nucleus in circular orbits.2) The Electrons revolve only in certain special orbits.3) The energies of discrete orbits are fixed and are called stationary or energy levels or shells .Energy levels are designated by K,L,M,N etc or number ,n - 1,2,3,4,etc.4)As long as the Electrons revolves in its discrete fixed energy levels , it does not lose energy.5) Energy is emitted or absorbed by an atom only when an electrons move from one orbit to another.
