This is a very interesting puzzle.Here we need to present the above given date in a form that is non numeric and has only nine letters.As we kniw we cannot use numbers.So we can only use alphabets.In my opinion the corrrect answer would be

"YESTERDAY"

The user Ashom  has asked this question on 02.12.2016. Clearly it is the date after 1st December, 2016. So, on the date of 02.12.2016 we can write 1st December, 2016 as "YESTERDAY". It is simple common sense and needs a bit of focus and attention to the question only.
