Thursday, 26 December, 10 p.m .
Dear Diary,
It has been such a beautiful week! Its December, the month of Christmas. Amidst the jingle bells and Santa Claus'sackful of Christmas gifts we had an added attraction. Our school celebrated the Christmas Carnival.
From 21st December to 24th December we were all dressed in Christmas apparels. For the Carnival we had a food fest. Christmas cakes were the prime attraction. Every class baked a Christmas cake.
Our class was the proud winner of the first prize. At the entrance was the school choir. They were singing all kinds of Christmas carols.
At a corner we had set up a huge Christmas tree. It was decorated with candies, chocolates, bulbs, dolls. On top of the tree was an Angel and a star.
On another corner we had built a manger with hand made idols of Baby Jesus, Mother Mary, the three Magi and animals. Some of the children of junior classes dressed as characters of the Bible. The carnival was great fun. There was a lot of celebration and merry making.
