How to write a letter to police station for lost bank passbook?

Hi sir,

This is to inform you that my bank passbook from xxxxxx bank holding account number xxxxxx is lost while i was travelling to my office in the metro train.

Along with the passbook i lost my handbag which contains money wallet,water bottle and few other essentials.

I request your good self to please lodge an FIR and help me find my valuables.

I will submit a copy of the Fir to the bank,so that the passbook wont be misused by anyone.
