How to write diary entry if the question is "you visited the zoo last week which made you sad at the caged plightof animals"

Hi dairy, 

Alas, this day has been most hectic and i had witnessed a cruel yet unpleasing visual when i visited the zoo in the city. I am so much caught up with what's going on with the world and how could i make a difference. 

We people wouldn't be knowing the pain of being chained up and locked away. We often quote about feelings being shackled, have we ever thought about we itself being shackled in a cage, living a life of an animal? All we can do is, holler. We can't understand the plight of anything unless we are being tortured the same way. 

I am feeling so sorry for the animals. They are being hunted, separated from their loved ones, exploited, butchered and still, we the humans yet inhumans torturing them. I will be talking with the mayor tomorrow regarding the hurdles of those animals. I want to do something that'd make a difference.
