how to write formal and informal letter in english??

informal letter you start with your name and address and date on the right hand side later you leave a line and write receivers name address
in informal letter you don't need to mention subject you start with dear ....
and complete the letter by writing yours ..... XYZ


same goes for the formal just you have to add a subject and start with respected .... instead of dear.....
