Hey MATE!
The IUPAC of any compound is written in 3 steps :
Prefix + word root + suffix
The prefix indicates the nature of compound ie, if it is chained, cyclo, bicyclo or spiro.
The word root indicates the longest Carbon chain present in the compound.
The suffix tells the number of which types of C bonds ie, single, double or triple.
