Dear mates here is your answer

⏩⏩Plants have two systems for the transportation of substances - using two different types of transport tissue. Xylem transports water and solutes from the roots to the leaves, while phloem transports food from the leaves to the rest of the plant.

The transpiration of water and dissolved mineral salts, from the root to the stem, leaves, flowers and other parts of the plant takes place through xylem. The food prepared by the leaves is transported to all the parts of the plant in the form of a solution through a process called translocation.
