When power is taken away from the central and state governments and is distributed among local government it is called decentralization. The major steps taken towards the decentralization of powers in India was the 73rd constitutional amendment in 1992. This amendment give more powers to the local self government so that they could uplift their particular area. The steps taken in 1992 towards decentralization were:

in this amendment state have own power to govern the state .and elaborate and organise the state election commission board.to regularly regulate.the election in our state .
