The story talks about how Mara and Tejaswi erecting a bamboo frame when Sanna brought in a few creepers to help them tie the frame. In the bundle, there lay a medicinal creeper. Mara tied the creeper to a nearby plant so that it could be used, whenever it was needed and said that every inch of the creeper was very useful. Tejaswi had understood about the uses of that medicinal creeper from Krishna about twenty years ago.
Krishna, who used to help on the farm, was suffering from piles. He went to a godman for the cure of piles. The godman told Krishna, that he did not have the strength to search for the creeper, but he described it to him. So,Tejaswi and Krishna searched for that creeper, dug out its tubor, mixed it with his milk for and drank  the medicine for five days and he was cured of his piles.
