Hey dear.... Here is your answer ☺

⭐Before the French revolution started, France was in a deep financial and political crisis.

⭐The Ancien Regime system was unfair.
The richest estates, the first (Clergy) and the second (Nobility) concentrated all the powers.
The poorest French citizen, called the Third Estate, paid all the taxes and were stuck in their poor position.
The king was held responsible for these inequalities.

⭐Moreover,Louis XVI personal spending in Versailles were huge.

⭐Besides, the king supported the American war of independence which cost France a lot.
Finally, Louis XVI failed to solve France financial crisis and led France to the Revolution when he let the Estates General meeting ended in June 1789.

Hope it helps You out ⭐^_^⭐

I) louis xvi supported the American Independence war which required a lot of money.

ii) Due to which he had to take immense amounts loans from other countries.

iii) And after the independence war he had to pay off his loans and he also wanted a comfortable life.

iv) He didn't had sufficient amount of money to pay the loans so he increased the taxes from 90% to 95%. And made the middle class pay for it.

v) Due to increased population the price of the breads increased and people were now provoked and had no choice but to revolt against the unfair rule.
