M.Hamel was totally different by giving his last lesson both in behaviour and look. That day M.Hamel was wearing a special suit and a cap which he used to wear on special occasions. That day the teacher was so polite with the students, and he gave his best on that day, he tried to give all the information he had to the students. The politeness of the teacher shown by two incident that mr M.hamel
1- allowed franz to enter in the class even he was late
2- And M.hamel didn't scold Franz when he was unable to answer a question and just said politely to Franz that it was not his fault.

M. Hamel looked very pale .The teacher told The villagers that French was the most beautiful language in the world.
Moreover M. hamel blamed the parents for the neglect of learning a French language as they their children in farm work .He also blamed himself to some extent as he to assign the work of gardening to boys like France.
The teacher M hamel became more sympathetic to his students and taught his last lesson with more patience. he ended the lesson by writing Vibe La France on the blackboard .
