Twenty years ago manali was in an under developed condition. there was no guest house for the tourists. there were no convenient village shops selling bottled waters and chocolate. manu cafe was the only restaurant in the region. the only means of entertainment was the book and the guitar. a lot of changes have taken place now. so many guest houses luxurious hotels and various means of entertainment are available for the tourists there days.
