Partition of Bengal created mass agitition among the people of Bengal.Following the partition,an anti-British movement broke out which involved the non-violent and violent protests and boycotts.Irrespective of caste,creed and religion people got involved in the movement.The movement was named Swadeshi Movement because  it included boycotting of British goods and accepting Swadeshi goods.
