When they returned to their sister after the war, they found her suffering from tuberculosis of the spine.Thus, the war had deeply affected them. It had completely transformed their lives. The war introduced the boys to a life of constant struggle and hardwork. Despite such magnanimous change that they went through, the boys grew up strong, able and honest.
