Indian subcontinent was ruled by many dynasties, Muslim Sunltan dynasty or the Suntanate supremacy was one of them.

The capital of the Sultanate time period was the city of Delhi.This dynasty ruled us from 1206 to 1526,which is almost 320 years.

In this time period the governing structure of our country had taken a new form,local governments are divided into smaller regions under the Sultan supremacy to rule the whole Indian territory more efficiently at that time.
