The rattrap seller was a vagabond who used to wander all around in search of food and shelter. All he thought as his philosophy was that the whole world was nothing but a big rattrap in which people got stranded by the baits.

One day, the rattrap seller was twirling and was very late. He found a cottage by the roadside so he decided to go inside and ask for one day shelter in it.

The owner of the cottage was a old crofter who very friendly and hospitable. The crofter was the man without family and wanted a companion to share his things and so on. Hence he treated the seller very politely.
