Introduction:-

Student classroom ratio and pupil teacher ratio of the government run school have witnessed 'significant figures' ,The economic survey today is (SCR) is defined as average number of pupils per classroom in a school in a given school year and the ideal size is 30 student per classroom.

Question :- How was the pupil teacher ratio significant?

The students teacher ratio is important for the number of reasons .For example :-younger Students and students who have learning challenges require more time and individual attention from teachers . Therefore , the ideal students-teachers ratio for these children would be higher than for elder children .

More about to know :-

  • The government has promised an average ratio of 25:1 .
  • The government has pledged that pupil-teachers ratios at primary level will be reduced by an average of one student per class.
  • In today's budget 2021 speech , Minister for public public expenditure and reform said this will be Achieved by the addition of more teaching posts .
