There were three different estates in France society in eighteenth century: -
▪Clergies:- People related with the church...the people of the first section or estate. They lead luxurious lives, they need not to pay high taxes and they can also involve in political and administrative issues.
▪Nobility :- These are the people related to the royal family. They too lead a luxurious life with all comforts. They dictate upon other people to pay high taxes.
▪commoners:- These are those people who do the cultivating work, trade and business. They are ill treated and they had to pay high taxes. They must give away their belongings to the nobility or clergy people when they ask. They have very difficult lives.
