Heading from Cape Town the family proceeded to the southern Indian Ocean known as the world's roughest seas. Here, on January 2, the waves of the ocean started getting gigantic. The sea started rolling up to form huge rolling waves. The forthcoming disaster could be understood when at 6pm the wind dropped in a silence, with the entire sky growing vehemently dark. Waves and clouds started roaring, forming a scary environment. It was then that they realised that the thing they were looking at wasn't a cloud but a huge wave breaking on their ship.
