toto was very naughty monkey. he was in habit to tear certains ,dishes.he also used to tear dresses of author's aunt.grandfather learn that such monkies cannot keep for a long time

In the short story 'The Adventures of Toto' by Ruskin Bond, Toto was a very naughty monkey who was always up to some mischief. Toto was a nuisance in the house as he troubled all the family members as well as the domestic animals and other pets. He destroyed everything that he could lay his hands on - be it clothes, food, utensils or home furnishings and proved to be a very expensive and costly pet. He almost boiled himself alive while taking his bath in a kettle. He was very difficult to handle and control.
Grandfather gradually realized that they could not afford such frequent loss of things. He learnt the lesson that pets like Toto cannot be kept for a long time and decided to sell it back to the tonga-driver.
