Answer:

This is your answer

Explanation:

People in the past were very fond of travelling from one place to another. Although the hills and high mountains like the Himalayas, deserts, rivers and seas posed great problems, people kept on travelling. They moved in search of livelihood.

ravel for pleasure was mostly for wealthy individuals- so much so that ‘the grand tour’ of Europe was a rite of passage for wealthy young adults.

Individuals who worked on a ship would have also seen parts of the world just doing their job, many ships were trade funded and held goods for sale bound for foreign lands.

A great deal of travel was to visit relatives and may have been far/ or not so far by today’s standards. Without email or phone, people went to visit relatives and customarily stayed for some amount of days/ weeks for the visit.

Explorers have been traveling for centuries, ditto for conquerors/ raiding parties and anyone seeking a better life elsewhere.
