we perceive only the reflected colors Thus, red is not "in" an apple. The surface of the apple is reflecting the wavelengths we see as red and absorbing all the rest. An object appears white when it reflects all wavelengths and black when it absorbs them all

I hope this will help you

Answer:

hope this helps you :)

Explanation:

The retina of a human eye has a large number of light sensitive cells. These cells are of two types, i.e., rod cells and cone cells. It is these cone cells, which make it possible for a person to see different colours and distinguish between them.
