how we can help my friend if he is scared of asking his science teacher for asking question because he feels that the teacher will consider him foolish

Take help from internet in studying those topics .

He can also clear his concept by learning from his parents .

Ask your teacher about it and ask if he/she could pay attention if your friend raise their hand. then go to friend and sya that the teachers are always happy to answer any questions you have. Also, what if someone else has the same question but they are afraid to ask. your friend couold help them understand the concept more when he/she asks question.
