in solids place the thermocol balls sticked to each other in liquid little distance and in gases more further

It will require 3 same sized transparent container. A suitable lid of the container(u can use 3). Pins. Threads. Gum.

For solid; make a cube but sticking the balls to each other in 3 dimensional way. Like decide a number of balls per edge, like 3-4 balls per edge...a cube has 12 edges now fill the inside of that with more balls. More simply for ur convenience take a rubrics cube and follow the patter, use balls instead of the squares on each surface( hack: stick balls on the rubrics cube in every face but in that case u'll not able to use the rubrics cube again). Now put the model inside a container( better u stick one surface of it on the base of the container).

For liquid; stick balls around the whole container(inner surface) with keeping gaps between them ( hack: decide a number of layers inside the container, like u can make 3 layers and per layer stick four balls like a circle; that means u've 12 balls stuck to the inner surface of the container). Now use toothpicks or pins to each of the balls  and add another ball on the open end of the pin u used on the stuck balls  (u've to choose a strong pin or support according to the weight of the balls).

For gas; take a lid of the container and hang some balls(like 5-6 balls) from the lid inside the vessel using threads(u can use gum to stick the hanging balls on the lower surface of the lid).

Label the containers.
