How we can open The lock of a smartphone without knowing its pattern or password?

When u drawn a wrong pattern or type wrong password u can see a line saying "Forgotten Password" click on that line....Then it will ask u your gmail and password....Fill that and then it give u chance to draw a new pattern or type a new password.....
Then u will unlock your smartphone easily.....
