Make a hollow cylinder of paper.
Cut it in such a way that you got a rectangle.
Circumference of base of cylinder will be length of rectangle that's 2πr and it's breadth will be height of cylinder.
It's means length of rectangle=2πr
breadth of rectangle=h
Area of rectangle=length×breadth
=2πrh
After bending the paper you will find only paper forms CSA of cylinder.
Hence it's proved.
