Prime Minister is more powerful and He/she takes all the important decisions. ... However , President can not use his powers without the aid and advice of Prime Minister and the council of ministers. Hence, PM and his council of ministers have more power, considering that people have directly elected them....

Powers of PM:-

1- Prime Minister has huge role in passing a bill. A president cannot refuse a bill from being passed if it has gained vote of majority.A president can only delay a bill for 14 days to make some modifications, and after a 14 day delay, he has to sign it.

2 - Prime Minister distributes and redistributes work to the ministers.He has also powers to dismiss ministers.

3 - He chairs the cabinet meetings.

4 - When the Prime Minister quits, the entire ministry quits.
