how we can see the colours?and what is the main reason behind this?

We can see different colours due to reflection ,refraction and dispersion of light

And another reason is cone cells in eyes

the reason behind this is that in our eyes there are present some conical structures called as cones. they are responsible for colour vision and function best in relatively bright light as opposed to rod cells which work in dim light
