= tan ² x + cot ² x + 2 *(tan x . cot x)
[As tan x .cot x =1 ]
= (tan x + cot x)²
= [(sin x / cos x) + (cos x / sin x)]²
= [ (sin ² x +cos ² x) / (sin x . cos x) ]²
= [ 1/ sin x. cos x) ]²
= [ cosec x . sec x ]²
= cosec ² x . sec ² x
=R.H.S
= tan ² x + cot ² x + 2 *(tan x . cot x)
