How we decide to take 11kv connection or 33kv connection?

The following can be considered before making a choice by the provider:
The total current would be drawn by the facility in both 33 kV line and 11 kV line. Higher the voltage lower the current drawn and size of conductor.
The distance between the power supplier’s substation and the receiver’s substation. More the distance larger the voltage drop and hence need for choosing higher voltage.
If the load is less then the power supplier will distribute the suppy through thei 11 kV substation along with other small scale and/or domestic consumers.
For consumer the benefits of 33 kV connection are less interruption as usually it would be from a dedicated feeder. Easy fault location identification.
Benefits of a 11 kV connection would be less cost of transformer and less cost of erection of receiving substation at consumer side.
