We get to know that a chemical equation is balanced or not by observing the no. of atoms of each elements on either side i.e reactants and product side. If the no. of atoms of each element is equal on either side then, the equation is balanced.

Balanced chemical equation : The equation which contains an equal number of atoms of each element on both sides of the arrow is called a balanced chemical equation.
