chalk powder, and powdered camphor?

To separate the above mixture,

Add the above mixture in water. NaCl will dissolve while chalk powder and powdered camphor will not. Filter the solution. Evaporate the filtrate to get back solid NaCl, Collect the residue (on the filter paper) and keep on washing it with an organic solvent like chloroform or diethyl ether so that camphor will separate as a filtrate (in an another beaker). Chalk powder will remain as a residue on the filter paper.
Heat the above mixture (in a water bath for safety) so that camphor will sublime. The remaining mixture can be shaken with water to separate NaCl and CaCO3. The only problem with this method is that the sublimed vapour will be lost. It can be collected by deposition on a solid surface, but some amount may be lost.
