Stars are made of very hot gas. This gas is mostly hydrogen and helium, which are the two lightest elements. Stars shine by burning hydrogen into helium in their cores, and later in their lives create heavier elements. ... After a star runs out of fuel, it ejects much of its material back into space.

All objects belonging to space are called celestial or heavenly bodies. TheSun moon stars and planets including our earth our celestial bodies which we can see.

Stars are very big celestial bodies, but they look small because they are very far from us. They are made up of hot glowing gases. They produce their own heat and light. The best known example of a star that lies closest to our planet is the sun. Star twinkle while planets don't. If we observe the sky on successive evenings, we find that stars do not move with respect to each other. Planets appear to be moving with respect to stars.

If I say about the formation of the star then I could say that stars are formed by many and different types of glowing gases ,dust particles which adjoins each other and form a star. There are billions of stars which are uncountable.
