There were many problems faced by the people because Britishers made the new laws for the forest protection. Now the people have to spend their time in the forests as per their rules. villages had to take wood only from protected forests. This made the life of people very different to live.

After the act , all their everyday practice are cutting wood for their houses, grazing their cattel , collecting fruits and roots etc.

people were now forced to steal wood from the forest, and if they were caught.
