How were Vietnamese nationalists inspired by Japan and China to set up a democratic republic? Explain with examples.

Japan had resisted colonial rule and had defeated Russia which showed its military capabilities. 
On the other hand, China overthrew thier long established monarchy in 1911, these improvements inspired the Vietnamese to a great extent and they set up various association in both countries such as Restoration society in Tokyo,
and Restoration of Vietnam in China.
