Phan Boi Chau was a Vietnamese nationalist scholar who was educated in the Confucian tradition. He was an advocate of closer relations between China and Vietnam.
His contribution:-
1. The second phase of struggle was started under the leadership of Phan Boi Chau.
2. In 1903, he formed an organisation namely Reformation society.
3. In 1908, he formed a new group called Vietnamese restoration league.
