As spores have thick walls, they can protect the embryo from harsh weather conditions such as hot climate, very cold climate etc.

The reproduction by spore take place in plant spore are covered by hard protective coat which enables them to survive under unfavourable condition like (lack of food lack of water) and extreme temperatures. but when the condition become favourable (food and water) are available and temperature is suitable then the spore can grow to produce new plants does the reproduction by spore benefit the plant because by surviving under adverse condition respond make this plants live for ever.
