How will the cell work in absence of cell organelle

Absence of cell organelle means that there is no compartmentalization in Cell . Now the question arises how the cell would function , the functions of cell are performed by the enzymes , which require enzymes acting at a particular pH , eg the pH in mitochondrion is higher then cytosol and all enzymes require such conditions to do the function , would stop working
