1. React Ethanol with PCl5 and then with Potassium Cyanide.
2. Add H3O+ to potassium cyanide.
3. React it with LiAlH4. Your Propanol is ready.

First ethanol must be converted into ethyl halide. You can do that by reacting ethanol with PCl5. Then KCN , H3O+ and finally react it with LAH to get propanol... Thank you
