Resistance is phenomena by which a conductor oppose the flow of current whereas resistor is the device which oppose the flow of electric current

Heya friend,
Resistance is the characteristic property of a conductor to oppose the electric current. Higher the resistance, lower is the flow of electric current when potential difference is applied through it.
But
Resistors are those electric components which create resistance in the flow of electric current.
So, you can say that resistors in a conductor give rise to the resistance in the electric current which oppose the flow of it.
Thanks !!!
