an atom of hydrogen has a mass of about 1.66 x

To calculate the atomic mass of a single atomof an element, add up the mass of protons and neutrons.

only Hydrogen consist of proton and 1 electron
atomic no.= no. proton=1
H1
atomic mass= atomic no. + no. of neutron=1+0=1
