Distilled water is neutral in character, i.e. it is neither acidic nor basic. Neutral nature of distilled water can be verified by the use of blue and red litmus paper. Distilled water does not change the colour of either blue or red litmus paper.(◠‿◕)(◠‿◕)

Answer:

By using PH paper you can know that distilled water is neutral if the colour of the ph paper changes to green.

Another method is by tasting the distilled water that distilled water is bitter as it doesn't contain any minerals.

Distilled water is mainly used in laboratory and medicinal uses.
