Hey!!!!
__________
We have
=> 3 resistors of 6 ohm each
1) To obtain : 9 ohm
Thus When we connect R1 and R2 in parallel and their combination in series with R1, we will get 9 ohm
=> 6 ohm and 6 ohm in parallel = 3 ohm
=> 6 ohm and 3 ohm in series = 9 oh
2) To obtain : 4 ohm
=> Connect R1 and R2 in series and their combination in parallel with R3.
Checking
=> R1 + R2 = 12 ohm
=> 12 ohm and 6ohm in parallel = 4 ohm
____________
Hope this helps ✌️
