Explanation:

It can be done by reductive ozonolysis i.e, O3/Zn

C-C=C → C-Cho + hcho

Or for single product

  1. Antimarkonikov hbr+h2o2 product- c-c=c-br
  2. KCN product— c-c=c-cn
  3. nano2+hcl (0–5°C) product c-c=c-cN2+Cl- (diazoniun ion)
  4. c2h5oh product→c-c=c-c
  5. O3/Zn so final product is 2c-cho

IN SIMPLE STATEMENT:-

Propene is Ozonolysis in presence of O3/Zn to form acetaldehyde and formaldehyde.
