area of a field=l*b
so, l*b=450
let breadth be = x, length be = 2x
x+2x=3x
3x=450
x=450/3=150
therefore, x=150 so, breadth= 150, length= 300

Answer:-
- The length and breadth of rectangular field is 30m and 15m respectively.
Step-by-step explanation:
To Find :-
- The length and breadth of rectangular field
Solution:
Given that,
- The area of rectangular field = 450m²
- Length is twice it's breadth
Let us assume the length and breadth of the rectangular field as
- Breadth = x
- Length = 2x
As we know that,
Where,
- l = Length
- b = Breadth
Also given,
- (x) (2x) = 450m²
Therefore,
By multiplying,
Transposing 2 to R.H.S,
By dividing,
By simplifying,
So, The value of x is 15.
Now, The length and breadth is :-
- Length = 2x = (2*15)m = 30m
- Breadth = x = (15)m = 15m.
Hence, The length and breadth of Rectangular field is 30m and 15m respectively.
