The nitration of alkene is not an addition reaction in which H and \mathrm{NO}_{2} is added to double bonded Carbon atom of an alkene. The reaction does not add \mathrm{NO}_{2} directly but through substitution of Br atom from alkyl bromide so we have to convert alkene to alkyl bromide then nitration by substitution.

\mathrm{CH}_{3}-\mathrm{CH}=\mathrm{CH}_{2}+\mathrm{HBr} \stackrel{\text { peroxide }}{\rightarrow} \mathrm{CH}_{3} \mathrm{CH}_{2}-\mathrm{CH}_{2} \mathrm{Br}

Then, add the silver nitrate to 1-Promopropene, then we will get Silver Bromide.

\begin{array}{l}{\mathrm{CH}_{3}-\mathrm{CH}_{2} \mathrm{CH}_{2} \mathrm{Br}+\mathrm{AgNO}_{2} \rightarrow \mathrm{CH}_{3} \mathrm{CH}_{2} \mathrm{CH}_{2} \mathrm{NO}_{2}+} \\ {\mathrm{AgBr}}\end{array}
