Artificial aquatic ecosystem:

• In an ecosystem, there is a producer, consumer and decomposer. An aquarium is an artificial aquatic ecosystem.
• Some aquarium are very large and they cannot be cleaned like small fish tanks.
• Aquatic plants are need to planted in the aquarium which produces oxygen by photosynthesis process.
• The fishes are need to be kept in the tanks which will consume the oxygen. The fishes can be carnivores which will depends on the small fishes.
• The decomposers in the aquarium will feed on the wastage produced by the fishes.
• This way the aquariums remain self-sustainable.
