It is necessary to manage the solid waste because it pollutes the land. And as it pollutes the land, the plants may die. Also if the plants dies people will get less food and therefore they may die. People may also fall sick because of it. It will also pollute the ground water and thus less water will be available. Insects that lives in soil such as earthworms and bacteria will die and not help in making humus for the plant growth. Thus solid waste management is necessary.
